Summary of impressions for the International Project Week 2009
I took part in this course because I think that it would be a perfect complementation to what I have been doing so far in
my Inte
rnational Business program. I have already gained international and cultural experience during my stay at Plymouth Business School and m
y internship at Volkswagen de México S.A. de C.V.
Thanks to the participants from Latvia and China I could gain an insight to the working methods and problem solving concepts of the Eastern Europe and Chinese cultures. Furthermore, the EuroMPM students from Brasil, Nepal and Pakistan could add even more valuable cultural diversity to the International Project Week 2009. What was very important to me were the interactive parts like building a paper tower and the working groups for case studies and creating presentations that were mixed with participants of different countries.
Concluding I would recommend the International Project Week to anyone studying Business Administration. Of course, one prerequisite for this is a basic ability to speak the English language. But even participants with a basic level of English can improve their language skills as an additional benefit from the week.
